Giving Back: Supporting Children in Gambia Through Furniture Donation!
Here at Hills Office Furniture, we believe that furniture should do more than just furnish a space – it should create opportunities, support communities, and make a real difference. Recently, we were proud to partner with an organisation based in London that raises funds to support children in The Gambia.
As part of our commitment to sustainability and community, we donated 1,100 pieces of quality office furniture – a mix of banqueting chairs, school furniture, office seating, and storage items. These items will now go on to serve a new purpose, raising vital funds to improve the lives of children in need.
It was a real team effort, and we’d like to give special thanks to James from the organisation, who travelled especially to load the trailer and ensure everything was collected safely. His dedication is a reminder of the passion and hard work that goes into supporting causes that matter.
This donation is not just about giving furniture a second life – it’s about creating opportunities for education, growth, and a brighter future for young people in The Gambia. By working together, we can turn surplus into support, and furniture into futures.
The furniture finally arrived at its destination ready to be distributed across local comunities to help enable them to create a classroom environment.
