The best way of managing our waste is not to produce it in the first place, after that we can think about reducing the amount of waste that we produce. We can also think about reusing the material. The environmental agency has developed this approach and proposed the �Waste Hierarchy�
The �Waste Hierarchy� specifies the following order of preference for dealing with our waste, with those options towards the top of the list more desirable than those towards the bottom.

Prevention and minimisation are the first step in reducing waste, but once waste has been produced there is still a lot that can be done to prevent that waste reaching landfill sites. Here at Over2Hills we are dedicated to preventing any of your redundant office furniture reaching landfill. We have developed a system that accurately follows the �Waste Hierarchy� with disposal being a very last resort.
For furniture that is good enough to be reused we have set up our �free of charge� scheme. Through this scheme charities and not-for-profit organisations that you have nominated can call at our Cleckheaton site and collect your furniture �free of charge�.
